He consult to the expert baristas from Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, London, New York and even Moskow. He is the expert barista in Jakarta. Jody is his partner and girlfriend. This “kedai” has speciality for each coffee. Every coffee has its meaning, and it really is. People are attracted with this, so there are many people come to this “kedai” and become its loyal customer.
The challenge come when someone drink Ben’s coffee ordinary, without any expression. Ben was really curious and try to find what is wrong. The second challenge comes from a man who ask him to create a perfect coffee. This man offer a great amount of money, if he could give what he want. Could Ben win this challenge?
This book is a collection of Dee’s short stories. I must confess that “Filosofi Kopi” is my favorite short stories in this book, among the others. She is so smart and in my opinion, she is a coffee addict. If she is not, then she must be brilliant, because i could feel every taste of each coffe from her writing.
I suggest you, who is coffee addicted, to read this book. I gave it two tumbs up.
